EU: trade union & employers agree on refugee crisis, digitalisation, industrial policy, & social dialogue

Joint declaration on

· A new start for a strong social dialogue 

 
The joint statements and joint declaration were presented by the President of BUSINESSEUROPE Emma Marcegaglia to Presidents Juncker and Tusk, and Dutch Prime Minister Rutte at the Tripartite Social Summit on Wednesday 16 March. 

The social partners request that the declaration is supported by the European Commission and Council, the EU institutions directly involved in the new start of social dialogue.
